In an Attempt to Make a Change, the UAE Takes Part in the New Global Tolerance Alliance
Political leaders from all around the region came together this Thursday to attend the World Tolerance Summit! The summit took place in Dubai and had very fruitful outcomes. The leaders discussed how to spread the message of tolerance and how their influence and experiences could help to promote peace and happiness in society.
One of the initiatives that came out of this summit is establishing the Global Tolerance Alliance to promote tolerance around the world. The UAE will be a global coordinator for co-operation within the alliance.
At the event, an agreement on tolerance was signed by dignitaries from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, and the US. Those in addition to the Emirates Human Rights Association, Higher Colleges of Technology, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.
