How Trance Music Increases Productivity
As humans, music has played a huge part in our lives since the beginning of civilization. People from around the world respond to music in a universal way. And currently, neuromusicology has advanced its research in the effects of music on the human brain; exploring how the nervous system reacts to music. Evidence was found that listening and/or playing music can make you smarter, happier, healthier and even more productive during all the stages of your life. Overall, it enhances the functioning of your brain.
Today I’m going to give you a little introduction to a type of music that makes you more productive. It may come across as a little bit elusive, but there is a type of music that has amazing effects on your brain, and it’s called “trance music”. This music tends to increase your output and affects your brain in a way that you can make you more productive.
Trance is a type of music that was created in Germany two decades ago. It was a subgenre of electronic dance music. So, the question is; how and why is it good for getting things done? And the answer is, trance has lots of ups and downs in its rhythm. The beat is characterized as consistent and relentless, usually featured with some decent instrumentals; like the piano and the synth, as well as some guitar, and in some tracks you’ll even hear violins.
The music sometimes includes vocals, usually female, singing about things like love affairs as well as achieving goals. Lyrics are usually very powerful which I find perfect when I need to get work done faster. The songs are also long, so long that you’ll lose track of time during work, or even when you’re working out at the gym.
I must mention that the beats and lyrics will also change your brain chemistry in a way that’ll make you do things you wouldn’t normally be able to do! If you want to try it out yourself, here are some suggestions for you from my personal playlist – Mind Against, Solomun, and Deep Revolution.
