Head to the Main Arena for All the Action
The heart of DEF 2025, GameExpo, brings together different types of gaming experiences under one roof. You’ll find everything from high-stakes esports tournaments to immersive VR zones.
The Main Arena & Gaming District is where most of the action happens, with 5v5 team competitions and live tournaments. For a trip down memory lane, check out the Higher Institute of Technology Retro Zone, where you can play classic arcade games.
However, if you want to step into physical challenges, the Quest: IRL Zone blends gaming with real-world activities for something a little different.
Catch Your Favorite Influencers Live on Stage
If you’re interested in seeing some of your favorite gaming personalities in action, the Play Beyond event at GameExpo is where content creators and fans can come together.
With top influencers like Abo Flah, this live stage event is a chance to watch creators face off in competitions, interact with the crowd, and even participate in special gaming challenges.
Plus, it’s not just about watching—fans can get involved in the gameplay, adding to the excitement of the event.
Get Inspired by the Cosplay Championship
If you enjoy cosplay, the Dubai Cosplay Championship is a must-see event. Taking place on May 10, it celebrates all things anime, gaming, and pop culture. Regional cosplayers will compete for prizes, while fans can check out some truly impressive costumes.
On top of that, the daily cosplay catwalks also provide a chance to meet judges and see the artistry behind the costumes.
Discover The Hottest Gaming Tech at the Innovation Zones
One of the interesting aspects of GameExpo 2025 is the chance to explore the latest trends and innovations in gaming. The Innovation Zones will showcase cutting-edge technology, including Web3 and new gaming consoles.
For example, the Web3 Pavilion offers a look at the Move-to-Earn concept, where you can earn crypto rewards through interactive treadmill gameplay.
Besides that, if you’re a fan of rare gaming memorabilia, the Vintage Company zone is presenting historic collectibles, while the Antifreeze zone offers a first look at an upcoming gaming console.
