From Japan To The Maldives: Here’s A List Of All The Countries Emiratis Can Travel To Visa-Free

Starting from Nov. 1, UAE citizens can travel to Japan without the need to obtain a prior visa as part of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the UAE and Japan, which aims to deepen bilateral ties by fostering more partnerships in the fields of diplomacy, business, politics, and economics while promoting foreign investment in both nations. The partnership agreement was launched during a meeting between a UAE delegation, led by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

According to Gulf Business, UAE passport holders who travel to Japan for business or pleasure are permitted to stay there for up to 30 days per visit without having to request an exemption at the Japanese Embassy in Abu Dhabi or pay any expenses. Travelers must still present a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure or a vaccine certificate that will be approved by Japan. Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Dr. Sultan Al Jaber said to The National News that this deal would encourage more tourism, cultural, and academic exchanges between the countries.

It turns out that Emiratis can even travel to other nations without a visa other than Japan. UAE citizens are free to travel whenever they choose to the following five nations:

Currently, Azerbaijan offers a visa on arrival for UAE residents. Travelers must have their proof of vaccination, as well as a negative PCR test taken 72 hours before departure. Being an affordable travel destination, Azerbaijan is popular among people looking for holidays on a budget. It has both an urban side, with skyscrapers and modernity, as well as a rural side filled with history and gardens.

The Maldives is the perfect destination if you picture your ideal vacation as peaceful beaches, clear blue skies, and dazzling sands. A 30-day arrival visa is available from the Maldives. If you are not vaccinated, you must endure a 14-day mandatory quarantine before being permitted to move around the island.

Georgia is a diverse country that’s a hidden gem for history buffs and has the significant benefit of being one of the nations that UAE citizens may travel to without needing a visa. For Emiratis, Georgia offers a 90-day visa upon arrival. Vaccinated tourists will not need to spend 14 days in quarantine, but you will need to bring a negative PCR test result obtained 72 hours before leaving. Vardzia, Uplistsikhe, Mtatsminda Park, and the citadel of Narikala, are among the many fascinating locations that you can visit in Georgia.
