From Japan To The Maldives: Here’s A List Of All The Countries Emiratis Can Travel To Visa-Free

Starting from Nov. 1, UAE citizens can travel to Japan without the need to obtain a prior visa as part of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the UAE and Japan, which aims to deepen bilateral ties by fostering more partnerships in the fields of diplomacy, business, politics, and economics while promoting foreign investment in both nations. The partnership agreement was launched during a meeting between a UAE delegation, led by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

According to Gulf Business, UAE passport holders who travel to Japan for business or pleasure are permitted to stay there for up to 30 days per visit without having to request an exemption at the Japanese Embassy in Abu Dhabi or pay any expenses. Travelers must still present a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure or a vaccine certificate that will be approved by Japan. Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Dr. Sultan Al Jaber said to The National News that this deal would encourage more tourism, cultural, and academic exchanges between the countries.

It turns out that Emiratis can even travel to other nations without a visa other than Japan. UAE citizens are free to travel whenever they choose to the following five nations:
