Hakim Is The First Arab Artist To Appear On Arab Virtual Platform LivaatVerse

Egyptian singer Hakim has just recently made history as the first Arab artist to participate in LivaatVerse, an authorized Arab virtual reality platform. During his live appearance, Hakim had the opportunity to explore virtual replicas of significant historical landmarks and artifacts. In addition, the artist delighted his fans by introducing his initial NFT creation, which features a digital portrait of…himself.

Hakim commented to Sada El Balad, “I am looking for the future, and this will indeed be the future for everyone.” The artist also emphasized that through this virtual technology, the education sector in Egypt will benefit greatly by providing experiences that are difficult to replicate in the real world.

Hakim is known for being the face of Shaabi music, and has collaborated with global superstars including James Brown in 2004, Stevie Wonder in 2004 and Don Omar in 2007. He now joins a lengthy list of musicians, like Travis Scott, Justin Bieber and Snoop Dogg, who are embracing the metaverse world.

A number of institutions across the Middle East have also joined the metaverse platform including Tala Bay Resort, JALCO and Amman Arab University.
