GFF Postponed, “Let’s Allow For Peace to Prevail”
The 6th edition of El Gouna Film Festival got postponed for two weeks, due to current events in the region.
Amidst the disturbing and upsetting events happening in Palestine, the Gouna Film Festival management decided to postpone the sixth edition of the event to be now held from 27 October to 2 November instead of 13 to 20 October.
“We strongly believe in the intrinsic power of cinema that can unite people regardless of their ethnicities or affiliations” the festival’s management pinpointed.
We see it as our duty to stick to holding the 6th edition of the festival this year.”
