For a plus-size lady, shopping can be stressful. Finding plus-size clothing that you would actually love to wear is too often a rarity. If you are a plus-size girl in Cairo and have no clue where to shop, worry no more. Here is a guide for where to find trendy and fashionable plus-size clothes in Cairo.

Evans is the one when it comes to subtly-tailored silhouettes and clean cuts. Their strategic tailoring for every body type will never fail you. They have a wide range of sizes, starting from 14 to 32. Evans will be your favorite when you are looking for staples like skinny jeans and skirts. Did I mention that Evans is nominated for Best Curvy Collection at this year’s Lorraine’s High Street Fashion Awards? You can find Evans at Maadi City Center, shop #36.

Marks & Spencer

The English brand has it all. Whatever you want, you will find it there. What is really interesting about Marks & Spencer is that it has an online style advisor that helps you figure out what really suits you. If you subscribe online, you will get regular emails with the pieces that you will probably like according to questions you answered when you subscribed. The subscription is totally free and is really inspiring and helps you revamp your look.  It has a wide range of sizes, too – although, it isn’t exactly cheap. You can find Marks & Spencer at City Stars Phase 2.

Centerpoint has a killer yet small plus-size section. What is really Ah-mazing about it is that you will find ultra-fashionable pieces that are pretty much like what you would find at any trend-driven store. The thing is, it’s size range is not as wide when compared to the other mentioned stores. You can find Centerpoint at Maadi City Center.

Marina Rinaldi

The Italian brand is one of the very first to actually think of curvy women. The breathtaking fashion house from Max Mara group was launched in the 80s and now it’s available in Cairo. Lucky us! You want an elegant evening gown, Marina Rinaldi is your answer. Its casual collections, with embellished sweatshirts and casual solid skirts, are awesome as well. You can find it at City Stars Phase 2, Shop #2139.

Punt Roma

The Spanish brand is for the preppy kind of girl. It has a wide range of sizes. It’s more serious and still dashing. You can find Evans at Maadi City Center.

Bella Donna

Bella Donna has a wide range of sizes. You might think that it’s a little bit too conservative at first, but trust me, you can find pieces that flatter your body and are still young and trendy.

H&M has a plus-size section, but you will be lucky to find something that you really like and still fits you. Although they have the section, the available pieces are still few in number. I love H&M – if only they would stock more pieces, please!

You know what’s really exciting? That awkward, stressful feeling you have whenever you go shopping is about to vanish. Get ready, channel your inner fashionista and go shopping for the new season!
