Breaking Stone: Georges Hobeika Becomes First To Display Collection At Baalbek Temple

Georges Hobeika has made history by becoming the first-ever fashion house to showcase its ready-to-wear collection at Lebanon’s Temple of Baalbek at the UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

Hobeika is a Lebanese multinational fashion brand by Lebanese-born Georges Hobeika. He creates ready-to-wear and couture clothing. His “Goddess of Love” collection aims to shed a spotlight on Lebanese heritage and proceeds of the show will go to the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon.

The show combines history, fashion and culture with the Temple of Baalbek being a two-thousand-year-old temple, it holds historical significance sitting on top of three thousand tonne stone blocks.
