Fun Events to Attend During Eid 2019 in UAE
Eid is a couple of days away and we don’t want to miss a single minute of it. Whether you’re into sports, shopping, video games or fireworks, there is an event that will cater to your taste in the UAE.
Here are some of the most exciting events taking place in the Emirates this Eid:
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi
Yas Island will host the Rollercoaster Rally during the first day of Eid. The raly will include some of the world’s fastest roller coasters for adrenaline junkies, in addition to a line-up of DJs and family entertainement.
Sheibitna Eid storytelling
The Eid version of Christmas is here. Forget about meeting Santa Claus in Dubai Mall, because this season you will meet Sheibitna. The grandfather figure will spend time with your kids telling stories and sharing treats.
Dubai Desert Road Run
If you’re more into sports and burning off calories than feasting on kahk, this marathon is definitely for you. The final event of the Dubai Desert Road Run season will host three runs: 3km, 5km or 10km at The Sevens Stadium.
Fireworks
The skies will light up in all shades of colors with the UAE’s annual fireworks show. Abu Dhabi residents can head to Yas Island for some spectacular shows. Dubai peeps should head to La Mer, Al Seef, and Dubai Festival City Mall.
Yas Gaming festival
Gamers of the world rejoice, there is a perfect event for you this Eid. Yas Mall’s Town Square is bringing us all the Yas Gaming Festival with multi-player tournaments, cosplay competitions, VR experiences, and retro arcade games.
