For The First Time in Egypt, Three Female Judges Join the State Council’s Technical Office

Changing the landscape of Egypt’s State Council, three female judges have been appointed to the General Secretariat and Technical Office of the Presidency of the State Council. They include Counselor Hind Ahmed Ali Aliwa, Counselor Radwa Helmy Ahmed, and Counselor Mona Mahmoud Ahmed.

This milestone is part of an initiative to increase the presence of women in the judicial sector within the council, a move that kicked off three years ago.

These three female judges were assigned to work in the technical office of the head of the Council because of their outstanding performance since joining the State Council.

Egypt’s State Council President, Ahmed Aboud, approved the general judicial movement in the Council for the judicial year 2024/ 2025, which will start on October 1st.

This movement includes assigning 108 counselors to the Supreme Administrative Court, 1,239 counselors to the Administrative Court of Justice, 568 counselors in the administrative and disciplinary courts, and 1,700 counselors to the State Commissioners.
