Fire Breaks out at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem

Right when the world witnessed Paris’ iconic cathedral, the Notre Dame, on fire on Monday evening, another one broke out at Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa mosque as well. The blaze, that wasn’t as big, caught a guard’s room above what is known as the Marwani prayer room.

According to the police, the fire was extinguished right away, with no casualties left behind. However, the cause of the accident is still being investigated. It is claimed that it was possibly a result of children playing with fire at the courtyard.

WE SAID THIS:  Our prayers go to Jerusalem and Paris.
