Pre-Premiere: A Majestic Light Show

If you’ve ever wanted to get even closer and more personal with the intense battles that overtake the scenes of ‘House of the Dragon,’ it turns out that became a reality on the launch night of the special show.

At the majestic Pyramids of Djoser in Egypt, a spectacular light show designed by visionary technical consultant Robert Mores came to life. Everyone got to witness a dramatic showdown between Queen Alicent Hightower and Queen Rhaenyra, which was brought to life through cutting-edge technology.

An Exclusive First Look

They did not stop there. Once June 12 rolled out, we headed to Dubai to attend the star-studded regional premiere of the first episode of the second season at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel.

The premiere wasn’t the only entertainment of the night. It was nothing short of magical as we witnessed the unveiling of a colossal Iron Throne model. Aerys II Targaryen and Ned Stark, you’ve got nothing on us, as we also came face to face with the mightiest Iron Throne.

We also got to watch Steve Toussaint, who plays Lord Coreys Velaryon, dive into an exciting talk with Jordanian-British radio presenter Faris-Al Ruqad, during which the two dove into the season’s biggest twists and turns.

What To Expect From Season 2

The second season is coming in hot as we’ll get to dive even deeper into the Dance of the Dragons, unraveling the conflict between Queen Alicent Hightower, who is leading the Green faction, and Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, who is adamant about getting back her throne with the Black faction.

If you don’t know, House of the Dragon is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, where we get to explore the turbulent history of the House Targaryen.
