For those of you who have never had Koshari, this quick meal is combined of CARBS! Literally combined of rice, lentils, and pasta and topped with a homemade tomato sauce that can vary in spice depending on the venue. As partial garnish and kind of the cherry on top, you can expect to see a mix of caramelized onions as well as boiled chickpeas. Served to go it is fast and is the perfect dish for anyone on a budget and looking for something healthy yet filling.
With prices comparable to picking up a newspaper bag full of fish& chips we highly recommend this healthy alternative for late night clubbers and anyone looking for a fresh snack.
