Egypt’s Ministry Of Health on How to Keep Your Immune System Strong Against COVID-19

Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population has been very active on its social media platforms, keen to keep its audience updated, not only with daily statistics about coronavirus patients but also regarding various tips on how to strengthen our immunity against the virus.

So without further ado, here’s a list of vegetables and fruits which the ministry is advising us to eat on a daily basis in order to strengthen our immune system during the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Vegetables that are rich in Vitamin A: Tomatoes and carrots, bell peppers, potato, and pumpkin squash.

Fruits that are rich in Vitamin G: Mandarines, oranges, strawberries, guavas, kiwi, and lemon.

Aside from the vegetables and fruits mentioned above, it was also advised to eat proteins rich in Zinc and salads with lots of leafy greens. Moreover, the Ministry of Health further addressed the importance of drinking 8-10 cups of water to stay hydrated and to have a regular sleeping pattern of 8 hours daily.
