Are Egyptian Girls Being Misportrayed in ‘Sabe3 Gar’?
People have been raging against hit mosalal “Sabe3 Gar” on social media in a rather intense way. Why, you ask? Well, some people believe that the series shows a very wrong picture of Egyptian girls. The angry fans believe that these type of girls who are “say3een” do not exist in Egypt, and that the series is attempting to westernize the Egyptian woman.
The above comment blatantly says that the series has gone too far with being inappropriate, to the extent that a child was born without marriage. The commenter feels that Egypt has been ruining our Muslim society.
This comment, on the other hand, denies that existence of such girls who curse a lot, get high, or travel with men.
However, the official page for “Sabe3 Gar” responded to these people by simply dropping the ultimate truth bomb.
This post basically says that whether people like it or not, these girls exist in our society. The post continues to say that the show is just acknowledging that they do exist among us, and simply living in denial is these angry commenters’ own problem.
