The Venetian vision meets the concept of underwater tourism, in which the artificial group of islands made up of a total of four decks will include a submerged deck. Offering a breathtaking view of the marine life, the underwater deck includes a lobby, 180 bedroom cabins and three restaurants, all below the surface of the Persian Gulf in Dubai. This approach of underwater tourism has proved its success in many touristic attractions such as the Maldives’ sea restaurants and Hotell Utter Inn in Sweden. Success was also noticeable in Dubai itself if we take the Palm Dubai’s underwater suites as an example.

The facility won’t just include a hotel, it will also be a shopping destination hosting a wide variety of Italian stores, in addition to Venetian festivals, such as Carnivale di Venezia.

The construction of the resort, which is worth AED 2.5 billion, is expected to begin in 2018 as it’s scheduled for completion by the year 2020. Such a project will deliver a one of a kind experience that should enhance the level of tourism in Dubai.
