This UAE Minister Will Inspire You to Take Part in Dubai’s Fitness Challenge
Earlier this month, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum started an initiative that aims to make Dubai one of the most active cities in the world. How, you say? By challenging its residents to take part in a 30-minute exercise every single day day, and ultimately, improving the long-term habits of people who participate.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, recently shared a video of himself breaking a sweat during a spinning class, and we are in love. “Bu Rashid, we accept the challenge and I hope my colleagues at the Ministry will join us in it,” he says at the end of his video.
Over 12,000 people joined in on the first day of the challenge at Safa Park.
