DIY: Remove Scratches from Your Phone

Just got a nice, new phone? And a nice, new scratch on the screen from tossing it carelessly in your car (or purse or backpack)?

No worries, just try any one of these three DIY solutions that will make those small cosmetic scratches disappear in no time:

1. Toothpaste

First, make sure the toothpaste you use isn’t gel-based. Place a small amount of the toothpaste on the tip of a cotton swab and rub it on your screen in small, circular motions until the scratch disappears. Finally, wipe the screen clean with a damp cloth.

2. Baking Soda

This works pretty much like the toothpaste. Just mix one part water and two parts baking soda until a thick paste forms. Use a small amount of the paste on a cotton swab or a clean cloth and rub it on your phone screen in small circles. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

3. Baby Powder

Guess what, same deal as above! Make a paste by mixing water and baby powder. Follow the same steps as with toothpaste or baking soda. Voila!
