DIY Customized Sharpie Mugs
Sometimes it’s impossible to find the perfect mug. So instead of searching all over creation looking for that special design, why not just make your own with a sharpie? At home, you can customize your own mugs with sharpies and if you treat them properly they’ll last.
Here’s how the process works:
Things you’ll need-
- 1 blank mug or tea cup
- 1 sharpie (your color of choice)
- an oven
Instructions-
1) Wash your mug so its clean of chemicals or other pollutants that might interrupt the design process
2) Design your mug using sharpie
3) Place the mug in the oven at 175 degrees C (350 degrees F) for 30 minutes.
4) Let the mug cool and hand wash thoroughly.
Note: While sharpie mugs can survive washing machines, the design will fade after a few cycles. If you want your mug to last without having to retouch and rebake, you’ll need to hand wash it.
