Cartier Competition for Women Entrepreneurs
Applications are currently being accepted for the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards. The annual startup competition welcomes submissions from female entrepreneurs with an original, for-profit business that is no more than three years old.
Women working in any industry and country can apply. One winner each from the Middle East and North Africa, Latin America, Europe, North America, Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia-Pacific will be chosen based on the project’s creativity, sustainability, impact and its overall quality and clarity.
Last year’s winner from the region was Sima Najjar from Jordan. Najjar is the founder of Ekeif.com, an online portal that publishes “how-to” videos for the Arab world.
