Can We All Just Give Shady Srour a Break for His Titanic Movie?

It’s Eid week and all my friends have traveled and I’m stuck in Cairo doing absolutely nothing. My mind keeps thinking about the same damn things; Otlob, new season of American Horror Story and everyone bullying Shady Srour. I thought about the latter more often.

I feel so bad for him. So effing bad. Srour has been on top of his game with literally millions of followers that worshiped the ground he walked on. They loved him. They rooted for him. But now, all of a sudden. they’re ripping him to shreds. Absolute shreds. Why, you say? Because of one mistake; the Titanic movie.

All it took was one bad decision and all hell broke loose. The sad part is that he was probably selected for this online movie because of his huge online fan base, only to get shut down by them. From hero to zero in five minutes. That’s how the Internet works, and it’s brutal. No one wants to be Srour right now. Always stay humble, because no matter how big or loaded or successful you are, all it takes is one itsy bitsy bad move for the world to turn on you. I believe Srour is a dreamer, and he dreamed too big. He tried to grasp a star, overreached and fell. And that’s okay. We all do that. Can you just give the guy a break?
