For the past few years, Egyptians have been showcasing creativity and talent in the fashion industry like never before. From 22-year-old designers on international runways, to sisters designing clutches held by every celebrity on the red carpet, our youth has been working hard.
Well today is just another day where we come across a 60-year-old brand getting a facelift to cater the younger generation.
“Miss Emeli Egypt”, renowned leather store founded 60 years ago and located in Maadi Grand Mall, just got re-branded by the owner’s second generation, Samiha, Selim, and Youssef Amin.
“We offer excellent quality with reasonable prices and some of the most stylish and diverse ranges of leather bags and shoes in Egypt,” the founders told us.
“We wanted to introduce new designs that fit the younger generation and compete with moderate prices and high quality. we launched our online page under the name “Emeli” and we target people who want to own premium top-grain leather goods without having to pay a fortune, especially in the economic state we’re facing these days. Our products are all handmade with love. Prices range from EGP 250- 1000 on both shoes and bags”, said Samiha.
With roots embedded in Cairo since 1959, Emeli is an elegant local brand that provides clients with premium, authentic leather goods. Carefully hand-crafted in Egypt, Emeli uses top-grain Egyptian leather.
