This Artist Just Turned the Dubai Desert into a Work of Art
Who would’ve ever thought that shipping containers would make for a good canvas? Australian artist Guido Van Helten, of course.
The renowned artist unveiled his latest masterwork, a 135m long and 12m high reconfigurable mural made up of 63 custom-painted shipping containers.
Dubbed ‘Red Bull Curates – Jigsaw’, the piece of art is the largest reconfigurable format street art in the world, taking 18 days and 288 man-hours to make. Van Helten used 500 liters of paint for the 207-tonne art installation.
