Artist Brings Palestine To Life Using Arabic Coffee
Drinking Arabic coffee while listening to Fayrouz on the balcony is an old traditional way Arabs like to start their morning. Palestinian artist, Yazan Ghareeb is taking this morning ritual and turning it into an educational platform to spread awareness about the Holy Land. Ghareeb began using Arabic coffee as paint when he was unable to find other materials to complete his art exam. Since starting this unique artistry in 2010, Ghareeb has brought to life Palestinian cities from the 1900’s and uses the artistic expression to reflect on his personal history.
