Anwar Hadid Opens Up About Sobriety, Mental Health & Faith
In a moment where faith dominates the wooden stage we call life, we get to see American Palestinian-Dutch model Anwar Hadid, the brother of the Hadid sisters, take on a new lease on life.
In a beautiful and raw Instagram post, he lays his heart bare for the world to see, officially declaring his sobriety and his journey toward faith and Islam.
“Sobriety and my mental health have been some real tough cookies in my life… I can say now I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and it’s because I try and see God work in all people’s lives,” Hadid wrote in his recent Instagram post.
Even before that, he shared yet another heartwarming post of himself performing Umrah with Sudanese-Canadian artist Mustafa the Poet and content creator Sharky.
It was a powerful moment for Hadid, and many praised him for performing Umrah during Ramadan, as it’s said to earn a bigger reward from God.
