Air Raids Kill at Least 76 in Syria’s Aleppo

On Sunday, the Britain-based anti-regime Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that government aircraft released barrels packed with explosives on the Haidariya and Ard Al Hamra neighborhoods of rebel-controlled Aleppo.

At least 76 people were reportedly killed, including 28 children and four women.

The Aleppo Media Centre, a group of activists there, called the raids on the northern city “unprecedented”.

Since the Syrian conflict broke out in the spring of 2011, over 126,000 people have been killed, while millions more have fled their homes.
