After Trezeguet Suffers an ACL Injury, Here’s a Throwback to His Best Moments, From Goals to Assists

During his match against Liverpool on Saturday, Aston Villa Egyptian winger Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, left the field in tears after suffering an injury, which was later revealed as damage to his anterior cruciate ligament. Trezeguet received treatment from Aston Villa’s medical staff on the football pitch, but couldn’t continue. Trezeguet initially fell following a tackle from Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, and had to be helped and consoled by Egypt’s Mohamed Salah. This serious injury will force him to be out for the rest of the season, and may mean potentially missing Egypt’s first 2022 World Cup qualifying rounds starting in June, and ending in October. As much as we’re going to miss seeing him on the field, especially in the Premier League this season, we wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back as soon as he’s better.

For now, let’s take a look at some of his best moments, including incredible goals, assists, and more.
