As with every year, the fashion world has come together for what is often referred to as “fashion’s biggest night out”, the infamous Met Gala. This year’s theme honors a prized individual in the fashion world, German designer Karl Lagerfeld, the man responsible for revitalizing Chanel during the time he was the fashion house’s creative director.
Beyond Chanel, Lagerfeld was known to have designed for many houses including Balmain, Chloé and Fendi meaning attendees will have no shortage of inspiration for their looks. Among the many in attendance were prominent Arab stars who rocked the Met Gala red carpet.
Graceful and beautiful as always was Dutch Moroccan Egyptian model Imaan Hammam who slayed the red carpet donning a form-fitting, long sleeved cream-colored dress by Irish designer Michael Stewart’s label Standing Ground.
Also in attendance was US Palestinian Dutch model Gigi Hadid who was seen rocking an edgy and gothic Givenchy strapless corset top and a low-rise black skirt.
Bringing a touch of simplicity, Egyptian American actor Rami Malek hit the carpet in a black and white ensemble, starkly different from his 2022 look where he was dressed entirely in a black ensemble.
The prominent Mexican star known for her Lebanese heritage stemming from her father, donned a Gucci designed gorgeous crimson ball gown with matching red platform pumps. The entire outfit was bold and vivacious.
Beyond that, many international stars also rocked the red carpet including Dua Lipa and Kim Kardashian making for another great edition of the biggest night in fashion.
