Abu Dhabi Science Festival Happening This Week

The time has come again: the 5th annual Abu Dhabi Science Festival is taking place on Nov. 11 for 11 days until Nov. 22. Sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the festival not only hopes to support scientific and technological research in the UAE, but hopes to entice the younger generation to enter the scientific field as well as help educate children to understand how things work.

This festival is the biggest of its kind in the Middle East and is organized by the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) and the Abu Dhabi Technology Development Committee (TDC), is a great way to spend time with your family, as there are so many things for every member to enjoy. We recommended you book your tickets online to avoid the long lines.

Taking place at Mushrif Central Park, the festival features workshops like “From DNA to Cells to Worms”, which is for everyone, or things that are more targeted to  younger children, like “Dig up a dinosaur”.

This event is a must for anybody interested in the scientific field or anybody just looking for a fun thing to do with your family, and luckily the event is more than a week long, so you have no excuses.
