Sometimes, happiness comes in small packages – bits of joy that seem to come out of nowhere, but are enough to lift your spirits and lighten your mood.
Those little doses of pleasure should be honored because, even though they may seem minor, they’re incredibly important. They can turn your day around, which can have a positive effect on those around you. And the feeling we get from those small moments makes up the whole of what we think “happiness” is.
So let’s celebrate the little moments:
1. When your favorite fast food delivery place overfills the fries box. Bag fries are the best fries!
2. When you get on the da2ery expecting traffic and it’s actually empty during rush hour and the other side is packed! Hallelujah, praise the lord, happy dance!
3. When you have your first, glorious, much-needed cup of coffee for the day. Thank God for caffeine!
4. When you buy something at CFC and take it to the cash register and it turns out to be on sale. Score!
5. When the person you’re thinking about texts you in the same moment. 🙂
6. When you get in your car and find it cleaned or your tank full (thanks, Baba!).
7. When you do something small, but kind, for someone else.
8. When a loved one comes back from traveling abroad and brings you presents you can’t find here. Even better when it’s food! #ghorba_a7la
9. When you have a really good hair day – and you didn’t even try.
10. When you found out you’ve lost weight and you thought that eating all that ma7shy made you gain a couple kilos!
11. When you come home from a long, hard day and your pet-slash-cuddle-buddy runs to greet you, tripping over himself from excitement, with the stupidest, most loving, slobbery face that just makes all your worries melt away.
