Recapping Dubai’s EMIGALA Fashion Awards
The month of April ended on a high with the third edition of the EMIGALA Fashion Awards taking place at the heart of Dubai. From fashion icons to leading magazines, we’ve recapped the highlights of the awards-filled night.
Rocking a white angelic gown, actress and TV presenter, Enjy Kewan kicked off the night strong as she took center stage hosting the night and presenting the awards.
Many magazines took awards home; Harper’s Bazaar Arabia was honored with the Fashion Initiative Award for World of Fashion celebrating the magazine’s work that surpasses a decade while Marie Claire Arabia garnered the Fashion Magazine of the Year Award.
As for the Fragrance of the Year Award that went to Italian luxury company, Prada which celebrated the floral musky scent.
Lebanese singer, Nawal El Zoghbi not only received Fashion Icon of the Year but she turned heads with her Aden gown that captured attention as she sang on stage her biggest hits such as Aghla El-habayeb.
Karen Wazen, the Lebanese-British fashion entrepreneur and social media influencer was awarded Fashion Brand Ambassador of the Year for her dynamic work that ranges from her eponymous diverse sunglasses line to the inspiring social media content.
The night of glitz and glamour ended with a tribute to the late icon, Lebanese singer Dalida where a band performed her classics.
