Bill Gates Meets His Egyptian Granddaughter For The First Time
Holding his 40-day old granddaughter, Bill Gates got to meet her for the first time since she was born. To cement the heartwarming moment, he took his first photo with her and shared it on Instagram with the caption, “I can’t wait to watch you discover the world.”
The billionaire businessman became a grandfather back in March when his daughter Jennifer Gates gave birth to her first child with Egyptian equestrian Nayel Nassar. After nearly four years of dating, the two got married back in October 2021 in a private and intimate ceremony that was held at the Gates farm in North Salem, New York. What followed was the birth of their baby daughter back in early March 2023.
Along with Gates, his ex-wife Melinda French Gates also shared a photo of herself on Instagram carrying her granddaughter, “there is nothing quite like holding your first grandchild. It seems like just yesterday I was holding Jenn at this age,” she said in the Instagram caption.
