It’s on everyone right now to shed more light and raise awareness on how common sexual harassment is in our society, and it’s very important to discuss how to combat the issue and start taking action. E7na (Ehna) is launching Egypt’s first-ever online summit discussing sexual harassment issues in the nation. The first edition of the summit is scheduled to commence on the 13th and 14th of November, 2020.

E7na will be presenting free online panels, talks, and workshops via social media platforms, with the aim of supporting all entities and initiatives that are currently working on shedding light on the sexual harassment issues that Egypt is facing. The initiative aims to provide and facilitate a full communication platform, and to share experiences, expertise, and services with harassment survivors, and with the community at large.

Many distinguished names will be taking part in this inaugural summit, including Dr. Mervat Abou Oaf & MP Manal El Gamil, members of the National Council for Women. Also participating are Yasmeen Hamdan of the GIZ,  Dr. Sally Toma, prominent psychiatrist, and Sara Aziz founder of Safe, in addition to numerous, highly eminent and skilled names working to end sexual harassment.
