First-Ever Dolce & Gabbana Show in the Middle East Takes Place in Dubai

Last October 7th, 2018, a magical event took place that the history books of Dubai shall always remember. Dubai Mall had the privilege of hosting the first-ever Dolce & Gabbana runway show in the Middle East, “Day & Night”. The date also marks the date of the grand opening of the luxury brand store at the mall.
The Italian high-end brand displayed its vibrant 2019 spring collection in the fashion avenue. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana personally presented the glamorous show, and over 120 male and female models flew to showcase the brand’s garments on the runway. It’s also worth mentioning that the collections will include some specially designed pieces for the iconic city’s boutique.
“We love Dubai very much; we are extremely excited to come back. It is a dynamic city with thousands of attractions. You are able to find everything you want. It is a modern and cosmopolitan metropolis where you can shop for spices, fabrics, carpets, typical objects; everything we love,” Gabbana told Grazia Middle East magazine.
The crème de la crème audience included Princess Dana Al Khalifa of Bahrain; Farhana Bodi, the brains behind ‘The Women of the World’ blog; Kuwaity influencer, Fatima Al Momen; Lebanese fashion icon, Karen Wazen, and much more fashion icons and supermodels.
