9 Reasons Why This Cartoon Network Character Looks VERY ‘Familiar’

We all grew up watching Cartoon Network. I mean who could forget the Powerpuff Girls, Dexter’s Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog and all the other shows that we spent countless hours watching and obsessing about.

 

Lately, though, Cartoon Network has been creating new shows (that we’re definitely not too old to watch) and one in particular, Steven Universe, has driven the Egyptian internet into madness this past 24 hours.

 

Steven Universe premiered in 2013 and is currently undergoing its third season with the coming-of-age story of a young boy named Steven Universe, who lives in the fictional town of Beach City. One Egyptian noticed an uncanny resemblance of the mayor of Beach City, Mayor Dewey, to a famous Egyptian figure. Judge for yourself!
