Egyptian Filmmaker Mohamed Diab Becomes an Oscar Academy Member
Egyptian filmmaker, Mohamed Diab, the man behind the stunning and heart-wrenching movie Eshtebak, has just announced that he is becoming a member at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
The membership is granted to those who have been previously nominated for an Academy Award or other nominated by current members of the Academy. The members represent different genres in the film-making field as directors, actors or animator,s and Diab was chosen as a scriptwriter. The membership will allow Diab to vote for best script-writing and best picture.
