Will Egypt’s Mo Salah Get A Street Named After Him In El Gouna?

Naming streets after famous people is the best way to celebrate the achievements and contributions of anyone to society. However, recently the name that has been set for this honor is not just any name; it’s our very own superstar Footballer, Mohamed Salah.

On Sunday, the Sawiris family, the minds behind Egypt’s newest tourist resort on the Red Sea, El Gouna, has officially approved on commemorating one of the city roads to the African Footballer of the Year for 2017. However, the decision only waits for Salah’s approval to be immediately carried out.
Last month, the media reported that in honor of the rich history of Egypt’s Actress Yousra, she has got a street named after her in El Gouna. However, the actress first photo shot beside the stand carrying her name appeared during the preparations of El Gouna Film Festival which is scheduled to take place between the 20th and 28th of September.
