Video: Will Smith Celebrates his 50th Birthday with a Heli-Jump After Egyptian YouTuber Challenges Him
People choose to celebrate their birthdays either with their beloved friends, or they choose to ignore the fact that growing up is a thing that deserves celebration and spend their day like any other day. When it comes to Will Smith, AKA Hancock, the most powerful Actor in Hollywood according to Newsweek in 2007 and the Grammy Awards Winner, his 50th celebration is expected to be as exciting as his US box office movies, which did not disappoint. Will Smith went for a Heli Jump -bungee jumped out of a helicopter- over the Grand Canyon in Arizona, and it is one of the best real-life stunts we’ve ever seen.
This did not just happen overnight, and it was not just a repulsive idea. It was an actual challenge that three young men put Smith into back in February on their Youtube Channel. Ammar Kandil from Egypt, Matt Dajer from the US, and Thomas Brag from Sweden are the three guys behind “Yes Theory” on Youtube.
In a video posted in February, Ammar spontaneously challenged Smith to go bungee jumping, after literally dreaming about it.
Smith surprisingly accepted the challenge, and he replied with a really fun video. Because he is Will Smith, he agreed under certain conditions; to do it for charity, and do it over the Grand Canyon. Charity and the perfect location for an adrenaline rush are two more reasons why we love Will Smith. The initial plan was for the trio to jump with Smith, but due to safety purposes, only Ammar jumped a day earlier on September 24th.
