VIDEO: Explosion of a Central Security Vehicle in Maadi
A central security vehicle was targeted with a bomb last night, in a location close to Cairo’s Maadi Ring Road. The bomb killed First Lieutenant Ali Ahmed Shawky Ali Abdulkhaliq, and injured four others.
Initial investigations suggest that the bomb was left on the side of the road, by an unidentified group of people. The bomb’s explosion consequently led to the explosion of the central security vehicle’s gas tank. Explosives experts, under the leadership of Major General Alaa Abdul Zaher, went to the crime scene, along with security forces, to investigate the case.
