The Arab population tends to have its own style of traveling. In some cities, you’ll find that it is packed with travelers from all over the world, but not with too many Arabs, while other cities seem like the places for Arabs to be!

1. Istanbul, Turkey

istanbul

Istanbul is a very popular destination for Arabs as it is a shopping heaven, has a very similar culture and probably the best shawerma in the world. Istanbul is a blend between East and West, where Europe and Asia literally meet. You will feel like you’re home when you realize that the Arabic language is widely spoken in the city just because of the tourists (and refugees) who come from the Arab world.

2. Paris, France

sisi

Although Paris is a top destination for many cultures, it’s home to a massive Arab population, whether residents or visitors. Arabs tend to go to traditional and well-known tourist destinations and Paris is no exception. Be prepared to find people who can understand what you say in public, so take care yakhoya msh na2sin fadaye7.

3. Malaysia

malaysia

Thanks to visa-free access to Malaysia for most Arab nationalities, Malaysia is a common destination for the Arab traveler. Malaysia is a great country so enjoy it abl ma ye2floha 3alena! If you’re a city lover, head to Kuala Lumpur. If you’re a nature lover, then I recommend Langkawi for some peace of mind.

4. Bali, Indonesia

bali

Thanks to the visa on arrival policy for Egyptians, it seems like half of Egyptian honeymooners choose to go there. Bali has so many things to do and see. From temples and the barong dance to water rafting and swimming with dolphins, Bali has something for everyone.

5. Phukhet, Thailand

thailand

Meen mara7sh Thailand?! El ostaz eli hnak ro7t Thailand? El anesa eli wara ro7et Thailand?! Phuket is very packed and touristy, but can definitely be worth it. The nature is splendid, especially in the areas of Phi Phi Islands and Phang Nga, but please don’t go to Bangla Road (shayfak yali fate7 google 3ashan te3raf eh da!).

6. The Maldives

maldives

Yes, this is true! E7na sha3b over and whoever can afford it will not miss the chance to go to Maldives. The main reason is to say “ana ro7t el Maldives ya gama3a” and also because it’s an amazing place. Bgad amazing msh hzar, the water is as pure and the sea is as bright as the pictures.

7. Rome, Italy

Rome is a dream destination for everyone, not only Arabs. This worldwide fame makes it a top destination for most Arab travel agencies, which sometimes ends in being “re7let matro7” with an Italian sense. However, you can still be a real traveler and enjoy this city.

8. Barcelona, Spain

barcelona

Makes sense, as plenty of Arabs are huge supporters of Barcelona FC. When they talk to friends about football, they say “e7na” refering to Barcelona and “ento” to the other team supporters w howa aslan men Shobra! Barcelona is a very beautiful place but also very touristy. At major sites like Sagrada Familia and La Rambla Street, you’ll see travelers from all over the world.

9 . London, England

london

London ya gama3a. Msh me7taga kalam! Anyone who’s been to Edgware Road will know exactly what I mean about Arabs invading London.

10. Amsterdam, Netherlands

amsterdam

I don’t mean the weed or the red light district! Actually, I don’t know why Arabs go to Amsterdam. Maybe they go to see the windmills. De7ka Sherira Motakate3a! I’m kidding, go to Amsterdam, guys, it has a lot to offer and probably more bikes than humans!
