The Red Sea is becoming even more popular than ever as it’s becoming more than just a beach travel destination. Resorts and beach towns have realized that there are other things that they can provide and support. In light of the rise of the party scene, for instance, the sports scene in this region has been gaining the same popularity in recent years. From tournaments and championships to CrossFit competitions, the Red Sea has done it all. Of course, Makadi Heights, one of the region’s most prominent destinations, had to stand out by dedicating its support to healthy lifestyles.

Makadi Heights is becoming a keen supporter of the sports scene and is promoting leading a healthy lifestyle; they even incorporated this in their offered amenities. In light of that, Makadi Heights took a positive step and is sponsoring the highly anticipated Pyramids Marathon. In preparation of the event, that’s organized by The TriFactory to take place on the 15th of February, Makadi Heights hosted a special retreat for participating runners. Promoting healthy lifestyle and athleticism, the retreat included adrenaline-fueled running sessions and challenges. Those were followed by lunch at the clubhouse and a yoga session with a breathtaking backdrop that features a seaside sunset.

If this tells us anything, then it’s definitely that Makadi Heights, and the Red Sea in general, is a great destination all year round. Be it because of the mid-winter warm weather conditions or the variety of services and amenities the town provides, they truly proved their point.

WE SAID THIS: Good luck to all the contestants!
