The Largest Arabic Online Platform Collects $13.5 Million Investments with the Release of “Salma” Interface

The first leading Arabic content platform ‘Mowdoo3’ with more than 45 million users per month has received investments worth of $13.5 million, led by the UK-based Kingsway in the Series B round.

“Salma ” is the newest and the first feature to be added to this Arabic platform. This feature is the first Arabic version of Siri and Alexa. The new Arabic tool will be used as the Arabic voice interface service for multiple sectors ranging from travel, telecom to electronics. The Co-founder and CEO of Mowdo3.com, Rami Al-Qawasmi commented on the investment: “The world’s Arabic speakers are the most underserved online, with the availability of quality Arabic content limited and technology, particularly in voice, not having the same impact as other languages.”

The idea behind the biggest Arabic language website in the world came to the MD Holder, Mohamed Jaber and the Entrepreneur Rami Qawasmi in a Jordanian Cafe in Amman back in 2010. Originally, there is only over 1% of web content in the Arabic language, but this website has collected nearly 150,000 articles covering a wide array of topics and information.

WE SAID THIS: Who is excited to use “Salma” to ask for reminding us for all the Arab gatherings we have!
