Sharjah Just Got Announced As The Guest Of Honour At Sao Paulo Book Fair 2018

Known as the cultural capital of the Arab world, Sharjah is set to be the guest of honor at the 25th Sao Paulo International Book Fair. The event is scheduled to be held from the 3rd to the 12th of August at Anhembi.
This is the first time that a Middle Eastern city participates in the Brazilian Book Fair. The event will be a good opportunity for the third largest Emirate of the UAE to showcase and promote the best of Emirati and Arab culture, local poetry, and novels.
The Sharjah delegation will be headed by Shaikh Fahim Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Executive Chairman of the Department of Government Relations. Moreover, the attendees include 20 Emirati authors and publishers, and 15 cultural entities.
