Sisi Honours Egyptian Champions After Their Impressive Performance In The Mediterranean Games

Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi honored, on Tuesday, the medal-winning Egyptian athletes after their impressive performance in the Mediterranean Games Tournament. El-Sisi granted medals to the Egyptian delegation during a ceremony, held in Cairo.
The tournament, which was held in Spain from the 22nd of June to the 1st of July, has witnessed the participation of 170 Egyptian athletes. However, Egypt’s ranked the fifth wining 45 medals; including 18 golds, 11 silvers, and 16 bronzes.
The Mediterranean Games are a multi-sport games held usually every four years. It includes basketball, volleyball, boxing, weightlifting, handball, judo, shooting, swimming and gymnastics and plenty of other games.
