Sharjah Museums Authority Launches a New Culture Mobile App
New technologies pop up every day, and of course, they change our lives along the way. That’s why it’s no surprise to see traditional aspects of our lives being digitized. Since it’s UAE Innovation Month, Sharjah Museums Authority (SMA) decided to embrace new technology as part of the initiative. This resulted in the launch of a new culture app that puts the emirate’s museums on digital display.
Users can now view everything exhibited in the 16 museums in Sharjah; from art, science, history and cultural artifacts. In addition, users will also have access to all relevant information. This could be opening hours, upcoming events, or cultural workshops.
Other than the previous services, the app will also have a geographical alert feature. This will notify users if they’re close to any of Sharjah’s museums. Moreover, it will also notify users if there are nearby facilities such as restaurants or hotels.
You can easily download the user-friendly app on your smartphone or tablet. It is made available for both iOS and Android users, so no need to worry.
