Ramy Youssef To Host Two Comedy Shows With Proceedings Going To Earthquake Relief

Hype Beast Arabia reported that Egyptian-American actor and stand-up comedian Ramy Youssef will be hosting two shows in London on Feb. 17 at Leicester Square Theatre. The proceeds of both shows will be going to the Karam Foundation helping thousands of displaced Syrian refugees in Turkey, the U.S. and Jordan.

As a standup comedian, Youssef is known for the HBO TV special, Feelings, where he performed at the Chicago Cultural Center in front of a live audience. The stand-up comedian was able leave audience in stitches talking identity, dating and culture.

As for his acting career, Youssef won the 2020 Golden Globe Award on behalf of the Hulu series, Ramy in the category of “Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series.”
