Following this year’s successful Red Bull Music Academy (RBMA) Bass Camp in Dubai, RBMA announced the launch of a new monthly radio show called Quarter Tone Frequency, “an exploration of authentic oriental sounds”.

Quarter Tone Frequency will showcase some of the Middle East’s best underground musical acts from Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and the UAE.

Some of the Egyptian artists featured on the show include Neobyrd, Wetrobots, Digla Band and MC Deeb.

In addition to local independent singers and bands, the hour-long shows also feature hosts from each country: the UAE’s Hamdan Al-Abri and James Locksmith, Jordan’s Tamer Gargour, Lebanon’s Brother Jackson and Egypt’s own Safi.
