People Worldwide are Signing A Petition to Drink the “Mummy Juice” Found in Alexandria’s Sarcophagus!

After the black, granite sarcophagus in Alexandria, Egypt has been uncovered; speculations about it began to take over the Internet. According to the BBC, Egypt’s Ministry Of Antiquities created a committee to open said sarcophagus, which contained three skeletons and puddles of red-brown sewage water which had an awful smell.
Opinions about the sarcophagus after it has been opened are roaming social media. Even though people were disappointed that it didn’t turn out to be Alexander the Great, a petition started on social media with people demanding that they drink the sewage water claiming that it’s mummy juice. As of this morning, more than 17,000 people have signed a Change.org petition calling on authorities to allow people to “drink the red liquid from the cursed dark sarcophagus… so we can assume its powers and finally die.” Someone using the handle “innes mck” on twitter had collected more than 18,000 signatures on the petition as of Monday afternoon. Egypt‘s Antiquities Ministry says the liquid is neither ‘juice for mummies that contains an elixir of life’ nor is it red mercury but only sewage water.
However, we doubt that it’s entirely healthy for people to be drinking sewage water thinking it’ll give them “superpowers”. The three mummies will now be moved to the Alexandria National Museum, while the coffin will be transferred to a military museum. Hopefully, no one will be drinking anything from this sarcophagus anytime soon and everyone will stay safe.
