Outrage Breaks Over Gezira Sporting Club’s Nanny Policy
Members of El Gezira Club are showing their discontent because of the application of a policy that forces nannies to wear uniforms; a white lab coat and a name-tag. Some of the members took the initiative and started an online petition to stop and change the policy.
The members think that the policy is unnecessary, derogatory and discriminatory. The policy is old, and the members think that it must be changed to suit the times we live in now; where everywhere in the world, educated people are shifting towards inclusion and acceptance, a place like Gezira Club shouldn’t impose a policy as outdated as this.
