Organ Trafficking Ring Arrested in Egypt

With the economy going down the drain in Egypt, illegal organ trafficking flourishes. Egypt’s authorities arrested 45 suspects involved in an organ trafficking ring few days ago. The suspects included university professors, doctors, nurses, and medical center owners.

 

The official statement issued by the Ministry of Health, revealed that the suspects included professors working in the faculties of medicine in both Cairo and Ain Shams universities and doctors working in Ahmed Maher hospital and the National Institute of Urology and Nephrology.

 

 

 

WE SAID THIS: As a result, ten medical centers and hospitals were raided, investigated, and of course closed as ordered by Health Minister Ahmed Emad.
